A Journey of Inclusion: Making Waves Foundation’s 2024 Northern Campaign Sets Sail Across Queensland on August 1st! 

The Making Waves Foundation is thrilled to announce its 2024 Northern Campaign, a dynamic series of sailing adventures across Queensland waters. This initiative aims to empower local youth living with a disability or that are experiencing disadvantage, promoting inclusivity and community support. We invite council members, media representatives, and the public to join us in celebrating these transformative experiences.

Event Details:

  • Dates: August 1st to September 11th, 2024
  • Starting Time: Boat tour and dock wave (30 minutes before the program start) 
  • Dock Departure Times: Please arrive minimum of 30 minutes earlier than departure times

These events highlight our mission to foster inclusivity and provide life-changing opportunities within Queensland communities.

Join Us for a Day of Inspiration Council members, media partners, and the community are invited to attend our boat tour and departure ceremonies from the designated docks. This is a unique opportunity to witness firsthand the impact of our programs and to support local youth on their journey to personal growth and achievement.

About Making Waves Foundation The Making Waves Foundation is committed to driving inclusion and empowerment through sailing adventures for youth across Queensland. Our programs are designed to accommodate diverse needs, including up to four wheelchairs per sail, ensuring everyone can participate fully.
